Full Job Description
Job Description
As a Digital Experimentation Strategist, you will serve as the organization's subject matter expert for digital experimentation and decision science. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end experimentation process, including identifying and sizing opportunities, helping teams define key decisions, selecting success metrics and testing methodologies, and translating results into actionable recommendations and future testing roadmaps. You will oversee the design, execution, and analysis of digital experiments aimed at optimizing donor and supporterengagement and conversion across digital channels and platforms. Additionally, you will establish and lead the governance, training, processes, and support needed to foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the digital experimentation subject matter expert (SME) for the organization, leading decision science training, processes, and implementation.

  • Identify learning needs and serve as an educator and trainer in helping internal users understand and apply statistical methodologies and experimentation best practices more effectively and consistently.

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead of the experimentation tools and technology, partnering with Product to identify and champion new capabilities and enhancements, best practices and use cases in support of testing velocity and validity.

  • Lead the experimentation processes of defining, hypothesizing, testing, evaluating, reporting, and implementing digital experiments.

  • Grow the understanding and application of finding insights and relationships via statistics as a part of a robust decision science practice.

  • Oversee the ongoing refinement and management of centralized resources, templates, and repositories in support of a strong experimentation practice.

  • Partner closely with product teams to collaborate in building an educational curriculum that helps internal users apply tools and techniques, continually bringing forward ideas and insights to drive value for our audiences and the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) and 5+ years of direct experience strategically supporting scaled testing, experimentation, and decision science within a sizeable organization with a track record of driving stronger decisioning to achieve key business outcomes; including 3+ years of proven experience in training and governing others in experimentation methodologies OR 8+ years of direct experience without a degree.

  • Experienced in weighing pragmatism against robust measurement to design and complete experiments (e.g., A/B/n test vs. pre-post analysis, learning agenda priorities).

  • A resourceful and driven problem solver. You enjoy and have demonstrated ability solving complex problems, drawing inferences from data, and using your analysis skills and eye for business to identify solutions.

  • You have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to effectively deliver on projects supporting multiple business partners.

  • Experience conducting user research including activities such as usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation and field research.

  • Applied understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis and statistical concepts.

  • Knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, user-centered design principles and practices.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and use of Jira to organize work.
