Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time, Digital Experience & Website Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role starts as a 6-month temporary position with the explicit goal of transitioning to full-time, permanent employment upon successful completion of the contract period.
The Digital Experience & Website Manager is responsible for helping create a seamless and optimized guest experience across the digital ecosystem, including websites, mobile app experiences, loyalty touchpoints, online booking journeys, and in-salon digital experiences. This role combines digital marketing, analytics, and user experience optimization to ensure guests can easily discover, engage with, and transact with our brands.
Our websites and mobile applications are a critical driver of brand trust, awareness, guest consideration, and demand generation. This role works with the Director of Omnichannel to establish priorities and governance for website enhancements, and ensures investments are aligned to measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings keen marketing acumen supported by strong technical capabilities, including website management, analytics, tagging, conversion optimization, and digital experience management. They leverage data, user insights, and emerging technologies to continuously improve digital performance while ensuring experiences remain audience-centric, accessible, on-brand, and aligned with organizational priorities. This individual will serve as a key partner to Marketing, IT, Loyalty, and Operations teams, ensuring digital experiences are aligned, measurable, and continuously improving.
Responsibilities:Digital Experience & Optimization- Support the ongoing optimization of guest experiences across websites, mobile applications, loyalty platforms, and digital guest journeys.
- Identify friction points and opportunities to improve engagement, conversion, booking completion, and guest satisfaction.
- Partner with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure digital experiences support key business and guest objectives.
- Conduct ongoing audits and recommendations to improve usability, navigation, content effectiveness, and overall digital performance.
- Develop and manage an experimentation roadmap across websites, mobile app experiences, booking flows, loyalty touchpoints, and other digital journeys, including A/B and multivariate testing, personalization pilots, test measurement, results interpretation, and recommendations for scale.
Digital Experience Strategy & Governance - Partner with the Director of Engineering, IT to ensure the company's digital experiences across all brand websites and guest-facing digital touchpoints are executed in alignment with the brand and marketing strategy.
- Ensure the evolution of websites and digital experiences remains aligned with the company's brand, marketing strategy, and business priorities through close partnership with Product Management and IT.
- Partner with the Director of Omnichannel to translate company, brand, and marketing objectives into an outcome-driven digital roadmap and prioritization framework.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and IT, aligning business goals with technical capabilities and development priorities.
- Define and communicate business requirements, success criteria, and expected outcomes for digital initiatives.
Website Performance & Analytics - Manage and maintain digital measurement frameworks across websites and related digital platforms.
- Leverage Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and other measurement tools to understand customer behavior, content performance, engagement, and conversion trends.
- Monitor KPI performance across brand health, audience engagement, content effectiveness, conversion performance, and customer journey progression.
- Ensure data quality, tagging accuracy, and measurement consistency across all digital properties.
- Monitor data quality and ensure accurate collection of website and campaign performance metrics.
- Develop insights and actionable recommendations that improve digital performance and guest outcomes.
- Maintain an understanding of privacy regulations, cookies, consent management, and evolving digital measurement requirements.
Guest Experience & Journey Optimization - Own end-to-end website user experiences and guest journeys, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, usability, discoverability, and conversion.
- Partner with Marketing, Loyalty, Operations, and IT teams to optimize digital touchpoints throughout the guest lifecycle.
- Champion audience-centric design principles that balance guest needs with business objectives.
- Lead ongoing evaluation of user behavior, friction points, and journey performance to improve overall guest experience.
Digital Boards & In-Salon Technology - Partner with the Director of Omnichannel on the evaluation and implementation of digital boards, kiosks, and other in-salon digital experience initiatives.
- Assess business needs and guest use cases to determine the appropriate technology solution, including when digital boards, kiosks, or a combination of both are most effective.
- Partner with Operations and Marketing teams to ensure in-salon digital experiences support guest engagement, education, and revenue growth.
- Develop recommendations that balance guest experience, operational efficiency, and return on investment.
AI & Emerging Digital Capabilities - Identify and evaluate AI-driven opportunities that improve guest experiences, content effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business performance.
- Assess emerging digital and AI trends to inform future roadmap planning and investment decisions.
- Develop recommendations for adopting new technologies that create meaningful value for guests and the business.
- Partner with stakeholders to pilot, measure, and scale high-impact digital innovations.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, website strategy and web analytics, digital experience, marketing technology, or related fields.
- Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, digital measurement frameworks, and website performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, site structure, metadata, content discoverability, page performance, and analytics-informed search performance improvement.
- Ability to translate business and marketing objectives into digital experience improvements.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working across multiple brands, locations, or franchise systems preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate analytics and customer insights into business recommendations and optimization strategies.
- Strong understanding of website user experience, customer journey mapping, content strategy, and conversion optimization.
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, personalization, or experimentation platforms such as Optimizely, Amplitude Experiment, Adobe Target, VWO, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with mobile applications, loyalty platforms, guest journey mapping, and conversion rate optimization.
- Project Management Experience
- Experience in evaluating and implementing guest-facing digital technologies.
- Practical understanding of consent management, cookie governance, analytics tagging restrictions, and privacy considerations related to website and app measurement, including CCPA/CPRA and broader data privacy requirements.
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive Salary: The starting salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000 annually. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, education, skills, and geographic location. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting and may be adjusted in the future.
