Overview

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Embellishment Sales Specialist!

The Digital Embellishment Sales Specialistexpands relationships with existing customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow the complete MGI product lines into two key customer demographics known as Commercial Print and Industrial Print. The MGI Sales Specialist assists all sales channels (Direct/Dealer/Canada) in pre and post sales closes on qualified opportunities referred by the Regional Vice President of Production Print and/or the KM-1 Vice President of Sales, Print Production Sales Account Representatives (PPS), The Commercial Print Sales (CPS) Representatives, Production Solution Consultants (PSC) or other sales personnel, while actively collaborating with these team members. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations, the MGI Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota in the assigned product lines, and for supporting the product-line success of an assigned team of sales associates.

Please note that the ideal candidate should reside in any of the following states: Oregon, Washington, Colorado, or Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the success of an assigned team of salespeople (PPS, CPS and PSC), including Regional Vice Presidents of Production Print, Vice President of KM-1 Sales, and Business Development Sales Representatives.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
  • Responds to the customer support requirements of the supported team, including, including account management and business development support, implementation and service personnel, and other sales and management resources as needed.
  • Works closely with Customer Service support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • This position may be assigned to support a geography or one or more named account teams.

  • Achieves product growth targets in the assigned geography or account base.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned geography and time frame

Qualifications

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution
  • 6+ years of sales experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment; or A record of achievement in the Account Manager position.
  • 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience.
  • 5+ yrs experience in Graphic Communications and Industrial Print
  • PC proficiency
  • Travel is required, approximately 50+% within the assigned territory
  • Ability to speak in public environment
  • High Energy and Passion for performance
