About the RoleCrusoe is scaling next-generation data centers and modular infrastructure for the high-performance AI era. As the
Digital Delivery (VDC) Program Lead, you will serve as a central anchor in executing Crusoe's Digital Delivery Program across our entire portfolio of data center buildouts and modular projects.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Construction Technology & Design, you will act as the owner-side Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring that our digital delivery guidelines, BIM tenant requirements, and owner standards are seamlessly implemented throughout the project lifecycle-from pre-construction and design through field coordination and facility handover.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior VDC leader who wants to step beyond traditional contractor coordination, shape owner-side standards from the ground up, and leverage cutting-edge technology on high-velocity, large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Alignment & Governance- Support the Senior Manager of Construction Technology in enforcing, refining, and maintaining consistent owner standards across the entire DIG project portfolio.
- Serve as the primary owner-side point of contact for digital delivery matters, providing clear status reporting, metrics, and decision support to project executives and stakeholders.
- Manage CDE governance and project hosting in Autodesk Forma and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Strategize, track, and execute specific client/tenant BIM requirements to ensure complete compliance across projects.
- Participate in departmental strategic planning to help scale Crusoe's Digital Delivery roadmap.
Model Quality & Quality Assurance (QA/QC)- Execute regular model validation and audit workflows to verify that design consultants and trade contractors strictly follow owner standards and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
- Structure digital deliverables from day one to ensure a clean transition into commissioning, facilities integration, and long-term asset management (as-builts, asset metadata, AIR).
- Oversee the coordination process at a system level, ensuring clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution workflows function effectively to mitigate risk, eliminate field conflicts, and prevent rework. (Note: Contractors facilitate coordination meetings; you provide owner-side oversight, direction, and quality control.)
Project Execution & Collaboration- Participate in design review and VDC meetings across all active portfolio projects, prioritizing tasks to ensure critical project milestones are met.
- Actively bridge design-phase engineering data with downstream trade coordination to prevent data loss.
- Mobilize quickly to support and execute project-specific workflows in a high-velocity development environment.
Technology & Innovation- Stay ahead of industry trends and evaluate emerging VDC tools, technologies, and workflows that accelerate project delivery and improve asset data quality.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience- Industry Experience:7+ years of experience in the design and construction industry, with a strong focus on Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and BIM management.
- Platform Expertise:7+ years of hands-on experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Autodesk Forma.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven background in complex large scale or mission-critical facilities, or complex high-tech infrastructure. Familiarity with data center terminology and MEP systems coordination is preferred.
- Technical Tool stack: Advanced, active user of industry-standard tools including Revit, AutoCAD, ACC (Forma, Build, Model Coordination), Navisworks Manage, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Model Navigation: Fully proficient in flying through complex multi-discipline models in Navisworks Manage and ACC Model Coordination to evaluate design quality and coordination status.
- Industry Standards: Deep understanding of Level of Development (LOD) definitions, BIM standards, and the key distinctions between design models and trade/fabrication models.
- Communication & Leadership: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of presenting complex technical data to project executives, design teams, trade contractors, and clients.
- Agility: Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to prioritize rapidly changing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ways to Stand Out- Program-Building Mindset: You are energized by the challenge of building scalable frameworks, owner standards, and digital delivery workflows from the ground up.
- Emerging Tech Enthusiast: You actively explore and experiment with new technologies, such as virtual reality/reality capture platforms (e.g., Cupix) and AI-driven tools in construction technology.
- Owner-Side or general contractor VDC Experience: Prior experience representing the building owner or developer in managing VDC processes and trade teams.
