Position Summary:

Reporting the Digital Practice Leader (DPL), the Digital Delivery Manager leads the implementation and optimization of digital tools and processes across the Energy & Resources Business Operating Unit. This role ensures alignment with business priorities, drives enterprise-wide adoption of standardized digital solutions and partners with leaders and project teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective outcomes.

Program Execution & Delivery
  • Translate the DPL's strategic vision into actionable digital programs and projects.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure initiatives are implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate with IT, Innovation, and Operations to integrate tools and processes seamlessly.

Change Management & Adoption
  • Develop and roll out training, communications, and adoption plans to support digital transformation.
  • Act as a change champion to foster digital fluency and a culture of innovation across teams.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and end-users to refine digital solutions and processes.

Client & Project Engagement
  • Engage with project leaders to assess digital delivery needs and tailor solutions and digital setup accordingly starting at the proposal phase.
  • Support pursuit and project phases with digital strategy input and cost optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650, BIM Level 2) and internal quality frameworks.

Collaboration & Standards
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of digital tools, products, and assets within the BOU.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and security requirements.
  • Work closely with other Digital Managers across BOUs to align practices and share best approaches.

Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track progress of digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor KPIs and ROI, preparing regular reports for the DPL and leadership.
  • Identify risks and issues in delivery, proposing mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

Capabilities and Credentials:
  • Background in digital delivery, process optimization, or technology implementation (ideally in the AEC industry).
  • Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives within EPCM projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, with at least 5-10 years of experience in project delivery.
  • Strong expertise in risk management, identifying and mitigating project and operational risks, supported by relevant experience.
  • Experience/exposure with change management, stakeholder engagement, and training development.
  • Strong project/program management skills.
  • Analytical mindset to assess ROI and track performance metrics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and credibility with professionals across the organization.
  • Knowledge of P6, InEight and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of recent versions of Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navis Manage, A360, BIM 360, and BIM 360 Field at a minimum. And Bentley products: MicroStation, ProjectWise, AutoPLANT, OpenPlant at a minimum.
  • Knowledge of other common Energy & Mining, Minerals & Metals Engineering and Project Vendors; Bluebeam, Deswik, Abaqus, Ansys, Aspentechnology beneficial.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or Technology Diploma is an asset, preferably in Engineering, Project Services, Project Management, Digital Administration, Business Administration, or related field.

About the Team

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
