Full Job Description
The Information Technology office is accepting applications for a Manager position to join the Digital Courts Operations unit.

With limited oversight, the Manager position is responsible for providing technical and program management leadership for teams supporting critical applications. This includes oversight of design and development initiatives, adherence to architectural best practices, testing, business process reengineering, deployments, onboarding, and communication with program partners. The role also encompasses managing day-to-day operational support for Judicial Council and Court systems, including but not limited to:
• Web Services
• Digital Accessibility Services
• Digital Language Services
• SharePoint Services
• Self-Represented Litigant E-Services

Additional responsibilities include relationship management and collaboration with internal JCIT departments, other Judicial Council divisions, trial courts, justice partners, and external vendors. The position requires expertise in budget management, personnel management, preparation of Budget Change Proposals, and negotiation of vendor agreements.

Responsibilities
• Provide oversight for the development and administration of strategic plans, goals, policies, and tactical work plans for Court Management Services Area.
• Provide management directions to the Court Application Services team.
• Provide oversight for the development and administration of strategic plans, goals, policies, and tactical work plans for Court and Judicial Council Web Services.
• Responsible for the oversight of assigned program budgets, development of Request for Proposals, and development of Budget Change Proposals.
• Provide oversight for Web Services and Systems Roadmaps
• Supervisory duties

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of professional-level analytical or managerial experience in assigned function, including, but not limited to, program analysis, development, implementation, research, and advising, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.

An additional four (4) years of professional experience in the assigned function may substitute for the bachelor's degree. Or, additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

OR

Master's degree in a directly related field for the assigned discipline, and two (2) years of professional-level analytical or managerial experience in assigned function, including, but not limited to, program analysis, development, implementation, research, and advising, including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.

Pay and Benefits

$9,911 - $14,868 per month

Please note due to statewide fiscal conditions, the posted salary range is subject to a temporary 3% reduction. In exchange for this reduction, judicial branch employees accrue an additional 5 hours of paid personal leave per month through June 30, 2027.
