As part of the Community Affairs function, Internal Communications brings together the Communications Partners, Digital Production, and Editorial Strategy and Content teams to develop and deliver strategic messaging for associates globally. Together, these teams advise leaders, translate business priorities into clear narratives, deliver communications through the most effective channels, and continuously improve based on feedback, data, and evolving business needs.
Within Internal Communications, the Digital Production team designs, develops, publishes, and operates the visual and technical components that bring communications to life across enterprise channels. This includes digital signage, email, intranet, and other digital experiences that help associates access timely and relevant information.
About This PositionThe Digital Communications Production Specialist helps transform strategic messages into engaging digital experiences for associates around the world. Combining communications operations, visual design, multimedia production, and digital delivery expertise, this role enables Internal Communications to produce content that is timely, accessible, visually compelling, and aligned with the firm's priorities.
The role contributes to the evolution of Internal Communications' digital capabilities by enhancing associate-facing channels, expanding multimedia storytelling, improving publishing processes, and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency through technology, automation, and new ways of working.
Role Summary- Produces visual, digital, and multimedia content that supports enterprise and business unit communications priorities.
- Leads the production and continuous improvement of the firm's global digital signage program.
- Supports the delivery of communications across associate-facing channels, including digital signage, intranet, email, SharePoint, and other digital platforms.
- Improves operational effectiveness through workflow optimization, process documentation, governance, and automation.
- Provides digital production, design, and user experience expertise that modernizes communications and engages associates.
Responsibilities- Manage the planning, scheduling, publishing, and quality control of content across the firm's global digital signage network.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for digital signage requests, providing guidance on content strategy, timing, design approaches, and channel effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain publishing calendars, intake processes, documentation, governance standards, and service models that improve transparency, consistency, and scalability.
- Design and produce digital communications assets for campaigns, announcements, newsletters, feature content promotion, and associate engagement initiatives.
- Create and edit multimedia content, including video, motion graphics, animation, and other visual storytelling assets.
- Partner with Communications Partners, Editorial Strategy and Content, and business stakeholders to translate communications objectives into effective digital experiences.
- Coordinate global delivery requirements, including localization, scheduling, and regional adaptations to improve the relevance and effectiveness of communications.
- Apply brand, accessibility, and user experience principles to ensure communications are inclusive, consistent, and easy to navigate.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve production processes and enhance communications effectiveness.
- Develop contingency plans and operational practices that support business continuity and reduce dependency on single points of failure.
- Analyze channel performance, stakeholder feedback, and operational metrics to recommend improvements to digital communications delivery and associate engagement.
Qualifications
Required:- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing digital content, publishing platforms, communications channels, or digital signage programs.
- Experience creating digital assets and visual communications for internal audiences across multiple channels.
- Strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to accessibility and brand standards.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.
- Demonstrated ability to improve workflows, document processes, and implement scalable operational solutions.
Preferred:- Experience producing and editing video, animation, motion graphics, or other multimedia content using industry-standard creative tools.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SharePoint, intranet platforms, or user experience design principles.
- Experience supporting global audiences through localization, regional communications considerations, or distributed content delivery models.
- Active use of AI, automation, and emerging technologies that enhance communications delivery, content creation, and operational efficiency.

$69,500.00 - $118,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$76,500.00 - $130,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$87,000.00 - $148,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
