Job Title: Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics Tech Lead

Division: Corp IT

Location: Hudson Yards, NY

Reports To: Senior Manager, O+O Online

L'Oréal Americas is seeking a highly technical and proactive Digital Analytics Tech Lead to own the delivery of site analytics initiatives across our portfolio of 50+ D2C and Content sites in North America. This is a high-visibility, senior individual contributor role supporting approximately $1 Billion USD in combined D2C revenue.

You will be the primary technical owner responsible for ensuring our measurement infrastructure is robust, innovative, and compliant. As AI reshapes digital performance, you will sit at the forefront-implementing next-generation measurement solutions (including LLM and AI-driven attribution) and ensuring the organization remains protected in a rapidly changing privacy landscape.

What You Will Do:
  • Technical Delivery Ownership: Own the technical implementation lifecycle for site analytics and activation initiatives across all North American sites.
  • AI Measurement Innovation: Lead the implementation of AI-powered measurement solutions to future-proof analytics. Configure infrastructure to capture and classify emerging traffic sources, including LLMs, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AI-driven personalization.
  • Data Privacy & Governance Lead: Act as the technical SME for data privacy, ensuring all tracking implementations strictly comply with GDPR, CCPA, and internal governance to mitigate legal exposure.
  • Partner Management: Manage the technical output of external implementation partners, ensuring high-quality tagging, adherence to architectural standards, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the technical bridge between IT, the CDMO (Chief Digital Marketing Office), and the Data Privacy Office to translate complex business needs into executable tracking specifications.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Coordinate with SalonCentric Site Analytics Leads to ensure brand-specific requirements are integrated into the regional technical roadmap.
  • Risk & Quality Assurance: Identify technical roadblocks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure data integrity and tracking accuracy.


What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital analytics implementation or technical analytics delivery, ideally within a large-scale e-commerce environment.
  • Technical Ecosystem: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (BigQuery, Looker, Gemini) and their role in the data lifecycle.
  • Delivery Mindset: Proven ability to drive technical workstreams to completion across diverse business and technical functions.


Required Skills:
  • GA4 Mastery: Deep expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including advanced tagging, tracking methodologies, and data layer architecture.
  • AI Awareness: Understanding of AI-driven analytics, including Google's AI features in GA4 and the evolving role of Large Language Models (LLMs) in consumer discovery.
  • Privacy Knowledge: Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to digital tracking.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical complexities to business partners.
  • Agility: Self-driven with the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects even with incomplete information.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

Salary Range: $84,500 - $120,400 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
