Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

DIA Machine Learning Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Acquire deep understanding of the business problems and translate them into appropriate business solutions. Drive development and delivery of analytic and statistical models using skills such as data acquisition and management, algorithm design, and model development and refinement. Ensure overall quality of the data and solutions throughout the analytic development process. Interpret results and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences including executive leadership.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Coding in multiple languages, including SQL, and using PowerBI for delivering analytics including reporting or machine learning. 2. Data visualization - delivering data to business users using at least one of the following: Qlik, Python, Dash, Looker, or Power BI. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Coding using Python to automate business processes and data pipelines. 2. Utilizing GCP native technologies, Dataform and Docker, to improve data pipelines. 3. Data engineering - leveraging Google Cloud Platform, Hadoop, or SQL for process re-engineering, and GitHub for code base version control. 4. Process mapping and re-engineering - consulting with the business to identify problem and provide solutions to improve and automate data flows using Dataform, SQL, or GCP.

We are offering a salary of $66,102.00 - $186,624.00/yr.
