Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage secure virtual and cloud infrastructures
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or other tools to automate the deployment process
Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other similar orchestration software
Implement automated security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maximize the performance and comprehensiveness of the DevSecOps pipeline
Create and maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
Use DevSecOps methodologies to identify constraints and employ creative solutions to break bottlenecks, improve processes, and create efficiencies
Support the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
Qualifications:
Required:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience in systems engineering
7+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer supporting classified DoW or Intelligence Community operations
Experience with automated configuration management using Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools within a CI/CD framework
Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation, diagnostics, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Strong understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and STIG compliance requirements
Experience performing vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Nessus and remediating findings to maintain ATO compliance
Ability to work effectively in distributed, mission-focused teams and adapt to rapidly changing operational priorities
Desired:
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) in classified environments
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD) supporting automated deployments
Familiarity with incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems
Experience with private or commercial cloud infrastructure supporting classified workloads
Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+
Advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (Master's or Ph.D.)
