About the team

We're growing our DevOps & Platform Engineering practice and are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to help lead it. Platform Engineering is one of the critical capabilities through which we transform how engineering services are delivered to our clients. We design and implement AI-enabled platforms, automation, and operating models that fundamentally transform how teams design, build, secure, and operate software.

Our mission is to enable a superior engineering experience built on self-service, AI-driven automation orchestration, the productization of internal IT functions, and enterprise-grade security and reliability. We help clients harmonize their ecosystem of platforms so they operate together as an integrated "platform of platforms"-spanning platform infrastructure, automation (DevOps), observability, reliability, and foundational shared services-so they can maximize the business benefit of their strategic technology investments and accelerate their broader transformation goals.

As a Senior Manager you will own the full life-cycle- from pre-sales through delivery - while also helping build and scale the practice. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth, originating opportunities, and contributing to sales targets within the T&T portfolio. You will shape transformation strategy with clients, scope and price engagements, and remain accountable through delivery-ensuring what we sell is successfully implemented and that platforms become the engine of measurable change. You'll also play a leadership role in growing the offering: developing points of view on market "hot offerings" (with AI for the software development lifecycle front and center), driving go-to-market strategy, sustaining our Community of Practice, and hiring and developing top engineering talent.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead pre-sales solutioning for DevOps and platform engineering opportunities-partnering with account teams to qualify, shape, and win pursuits, and positioning platform engineering as the enabler of the client's wider transformation, not a discrete tooling exercise.
  • Embed into client transformation programs and stay accountable through delivery-working alongside delivery teams so the platforms, automation, and AI capabilities we design actually change how engineering gets done day to day.
  • Champion adoption of AI-first engineering practices across the platform: bring GenAI and intelligent automation into the software development lifecycle (code generation, testing, review, documentation), into platform operations (predictive monitoring, self-healing, AIOps), and into the developer experience to measurably lift delivery throughput, quality, and reliability.
  • Architect solutions across our five capability areas:
  • Platform Strategy - defining operating models, team structures, delivery metrics to maximize delivery throughput and operational stability while reducing friction and waste.
  • Platform Automation - automating ways of work across the software development lifecycle and system layers "as-code," with AI-assisted, integrated feedback loops.
  • Platform Security - defining and implementing how code, configuration, applications, and runtimes are secured proactively, and how policy and standards are governed.
  • Platform Operations - designing how system layers are monitored, maintained, and improved to sustain superior operational stability and user experience.
  • Platform Intelligence - leveraging AI, data analytics, and orchestration to advance delivery modernization, operational stability, and developer experience.
  • Price and scope work, produce proposals, and present solution narratives that connect business and transformation outcomes to technical architectures-from CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code through observability, reliability, AI tooling, and platform security.
  • Own the handoff into delivery-oversee mobilization and ensure delivery teams have the context and guardrails to succeed; scale through delivery managers and engineering leads.
  • Help build the offering: identify high-impact market "hot offerings" (e.g., GenAI for SDLC), develop and publish points of view, and create go-to-market strategy for each-engaging directly with account teams, clients, and industry-aligned engineering GTM partners.
  • Sustain the Community of Practice-establishing recurring meetups for knowledge creation, sharing, problem-solving, networking, and monitoring-and take inventory of reusable assets, accelerators, and AI patterns that credential our points of view and expedite delivery.
  • Manage the deal desk/pipeline, capturing opportunity details, resourcing needs, status, value, and timelines; drive pipeline cadence focused on progress, risks, and next steps.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop top engineering talent, building high-performing teams and growing the next generation of platform engineers.
  • Enough about us, let's talk about you

Enough about us, let's talk about you

Must-have qualifications:
  • Demonstrated technology pre-sales experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure, with the architectural depth to bridge between customer needs and delivery teams.
  • A track record of using platform engineering to drive transformation-changing how engineering organizations deliver, not just standing up tools-and embedding within delivery programs to see it through.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI/GenAI to engineering: AI-assisted SDLC tooling, intelligent automation, and/or AIOps, with a point of view on where it creates real leverage.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible), containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and GitOps practices.
  • Strong fluency with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)-including compute, serverless, containers, and managed services-plus observability and reliability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Proven ability to scope, estimate, and price complex platform and automation engagements.
  • Track record of owning delivery outcomes for solutions you've helped sell; comfortable operating across pre-sales and delivery.
  • Experience building and leading teams-hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing storytelling skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; at least one cloud certification.

Nice to have:
  • Experience standing up or scaling a practice/offering-points of view, go-to-market strategy, and communities of practice.
  • Familiarity with platform security and governance (securing code, configuration, applications, and runtimes; policy and standards).
  • Deep experience embedding AI/GenAI into large-scale engineering transformation programs.
  • Strong pipeline governance habits and familiarity with deal-desk/CRM tooling.
