About the RoleDevOps Engineers are essential when it comes to keeping both our customers and engineering team running. As part of the Cloud Platform and DevOps group you will work on products critical to our operations and software that proactively detects issues with systems in the data centre, in the cloud, or at customer sites.
At a GlanceThe DevOps Engineer here at Vectra AI designs and implements pipelines and tools to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment for our products and ensure reliability and availability on production infrastructure. Automation is at the forefront of anything we do!
- Contribute to implement tools that enable other teams to follow DevOps and SRE standard processes
- Contribute to maintain critical production infrastructure focusing on availability, reliability and security
- Contribute to deliver a suite of platform services consumed by internal partners across teams and functions
- Contribute to ensure production deployments are fast, reliable, and safe
- Work with geo-distributed development teams to improve quality and time-to deploy
- Operational support of multiple regions including a FedRAMP environment
What Will Impress Us- Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- DevOps practices experience or exposure
- Familiarity with Agile principles
- Passionate for automation!
- Exposure to Cloud deployments, networking, and security standard processes
- CI/CD pipeline familiarity (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Container/serverless knowledge
- Linux system proficiency
What Impresses Us Even More- Hands on experience with container orchestration environment and tools (Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD)
- Hands on experience with production level environments, on-call and incident management
- Proficient knowledge of Python language
- Familiarity with telemetry tools/pipelines (metrics, logs, and traces)
- Hands on experience with Databases (RDS, MariaDB, DynamoDB)
- Familiarity with Security activities (vulnerability scan and management)
Our competitive total rewards package includes cash compensation within the range provided below. Actual pay for this position may vary based on the hired candidate's location, experience and relevant incumbent pay position.
