Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, REST API development, microservices architecture, database technologies (PostgreSQL and Document Databases), and AWS cloud services. The candidate will be responsible for delivering highly available, secure, and scalable backend solutions for enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and reusable backend components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Microservices Architecture
• Design and implement microservices-based solutions for enterprise applications.
• Define service boundaries, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of distributed systems.
Database Development
• Design and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL and document-oriented databases.
• Develop efficient queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization.
Cloud & AWS Development
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS. • Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM. • Implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
System Integration
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with frontend and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Performance & Reliability
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Optimize application scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams within Agile environments.
• Drive engineering best practices, coding standards, and technical excellence.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 a year
