DevOps Engineer to join our team in
Herndon, VA. The DevOps Engineer will leverage their technical background to help deliver automation and big data analytics for the IC community. You will be trained in DevOps and work alongside a collaborative team of Software Developers, Systems Development Engineers, Network Engineers, and Data Engineers to develop unique software that enables customer networks to safely operate at scale.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Deploying and provisioning AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architecture
- Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHub
- Running routine vulnerability scans, applying patches, and updating cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security compliance
- Designing and maintaining Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development team
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirements
- Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements
Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma and 3+ years' experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack development
- Experience with Bash scripting
- Experience working within AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments
- Experience working with Linux administration and systems design
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and infrastructure orchestration using Terraform.
- Expertise in JavaScript/ECMASCRIPT, including code stitching, minimization, and Restful API development.
- Knowledge of automated hardware appliance deployment, PKI infrastructure, and encryption at rest services.
- Experience working across a large team to drive technical agendas and working with complex, intertwined systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Clearance Requirements: Current/active TS/SCI with polygraph is required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
The projected compensation range for this position is $114,600.00-$190,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
