We are looking for a skilled engineer with a passion for automation and building robust systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevOps principles and experience across the technology stack.

What you'll do:

As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will be responsible for the deployment, operation, and reliability of our core infrastructure. You will work with modern, cloud-native technologies to build and maintain a scalable, secure, and resilient platform that empowers our development teams.
  • Kubernetes Deployment, Operations, and Reliability:
    • Deploy, configure, and manage small to mid-sized, production-grade Kubernetes clusters across a complex set of environments.
    • Automate and optimize deployments, services, ingress, storage, networking, and RBAC within Kubernetes.
    • Troubleshoot complex platform issues within Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
  • Containerization & Platform Engineering:
    • Deploy and maintain containerized DevSecOps Platform services.
    • Implement container best practices including image optimization, security hardening, and registry management.
    • Collaborate with development teams to enable the seamless and scalable deployment of containerized workloads.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation:
    • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform for AWS resources (EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, etc.).
    • Build and maintain automation for configuration management using tools such as Ansible.
  • CI/CD Enablement:
    • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, testing, and security workflows.
    • Drive continuous improvement in reliability, automation, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Security & Observability:
    • Configure and maintain solutions for identity, access management, and SSO, such as Keycloak, ADFS, or Zitadel.
    • Implement and maintain security and compliance controls, especially in regulated environments.
  • Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Advise on platform architecture and containerization strategies.

What you'll need:
  • 3 years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE role, with demonstrated experience in:
    • Container technologies and orchestration with Kubernetes (e.g.: deployments, services, ingress, storage, RBAC, etc.)
    • A major cloud platform, preferably AWS
    • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and/or automation tools (e.g.: Terraform or Ansible)
  • Experience in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts (e.g.: policies, roles, service accounts)
  • Must have CompTIA Security+ or other DoD 8140 qualified certification at time of hire

Bonus Points if you have experience with:
  • GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Experience with EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, or CloudWatch
  • Service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Identity and Access Management tools like Zitadel, ADFS, or Keycloak.
  • Government/compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53/800-171).
  • Hardening and securing platforms such as Platform One's BigBang.
  • Implementing and managing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
  • Vulnerability management and security scanning tools.
  • Relevant Certifications:
    • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Application Developer (CKAD)
