We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Analyst, CI/CD Pipelines to join our team. Reporting to the DevOps Lead, Tools, this role acts as the primary pipeline specialist for development squads—helping them build, standardize, and troubleshoot efficient build/test/deploy workflows across GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins.

  • Reports to: DevOps Lead, Tools
  • Job Location: This role is hybrid (2-3 days/week in the office) - based in Montreal, QC

Key Accountabilities

  • CI/CD Pipeline Design & Support: Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins to enable reliable, secure, and automated delivery.
  • Standardization & Documentation: Build reusable pipeline artifacts (GitHub reusable workflows, GitLab templates, Jenkins shared libraries) as 4golden path4 standards; create clear runbooks, how-to guides, and self-serve documentation.
  • DevOps Best Practices & Guardrails: Drive enterprise adoption of DevOps practices, establish lightweight policy-as-code guardrails (branch protection, pipeline approval gates), and monitor pipeline flow metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Management: Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to provision and manage cloud infrastructure (runners, EC2, EKS, RDS) and automate disposable, ephemeral pipeline environments.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Support the building, management, and deployment of containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and ArgoCD within pipeline workflows.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to analyze pipeline health, diagnose failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Squad Enablement & Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional development, QA, and operations teams to share knowledge, train squads on self-service pipeline tools, and drive standard adoption without formal authority.

Must Have(s)

  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins (all required).
  • Strong experience building reusable pipeline components (shared libraries, composite actions, CI templates) for cross-team adoption.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and deep experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), OS (Linux/Windows), and networking fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, ArgoCD).
  • Experience with pipeline logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of diagnosing issues directly from logs and metrics.
  • Excellent documentation skills and the ability to influence and drive DevOps standard adoption across squads.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is essential for this position, as it involves producing documentation for external and internal stakeholders who communicate in both languages.

Nice to Have(s)

  • Experience establishing policy-as-code guardrails and automated compliance checks within CI/CD workflows.
  • Familiarity with tracking and analyzing DORA / flow metrics to optimize pipeline performance.
