Build Scalable Cloud Delivery Systems

We are looking for a hands on Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our Product Operations team by driving automation, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD maturity, secure delivery practices, and reusable DevOps standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical judgment, curiosity, ownership, and the maturity to quickly understand complex environments, challenge existing approaches constructively, and deliver practical improvements that increase delivery confidence, operational maturity, and business impact. This role requires someone who can contribute directly while also earning credibility with product teams, development leads, architects, security partners, cloud service owners, vendors, and global DevOps communities.

What You'll do

DevOps Engineering, Automation, and Cloud Infrastructure

  • Design, build, and improve reliable, secure, and scalable DevOps solutions that support repeatable software delivery across AWS-based environments.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other approved automation tools for provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows.
  • Manage and improve cloud infrastructure using services such as EKS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, Lambda, load balancing, networking, and related AWS services.
  • Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes/EKS platforms, including networking, security, upgrades, scalability, and production readiness.
  • Translate recurring operational requests into reusable automation, documentation, self-service capabilities, or standardized implementation patterns.

CI/CD, Delivery Enablement, and Tooling
  • Design, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related delivery tools to support consistent, secure, and reliable deployments.
  • Improve build, test, deployment, and release workflows in collaboration with development, QA, architecture, security, and SRE teams.
  • Support secure delivery practices using tools and platforms such as JFrog, SonarQ, Veracode, LaunchDarkly, Datadog, and other approved enterprise tools.
  • Promote pipeline automation, quality checks, deployment consistency, traceability, and release readiness across product teams.

Security, Compliance, and Operational Excellence
  • Implement cloud and infrastructure security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network hardening, vulnerability remediation, and secure secrets/configuration management.
  • Support audit readiness, access governance, compliance-related technical controls, and alignment with enterprise security standards.
  • Partner with security, architecture, cloud service owners, and compliance teams to translate enterprise standards into practical DevOps implementation patterns.
  • Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues, root cause analysis, and long-term corrective actions while collaborating with SRE on incident and observability practices.

Technical Leadership and Impact
  • Quickly understand existing DevOps practices, environments, tools, and team ways of working to identify practical opportunities for improvement.
  • Bring strong technical expertise, curiosity, and hands-on problem-solving to challenge assumptions, improve standards, and raise engineering quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and practical leadership without unnecessary disruption, balancing improvement with business continuity.
  • Help increase the credibility and impact of DevOps by delivering visible, measurable outcomes and communicating progress clearly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support other DevOps engineers through coaching, documentation, examples, peer reviews, and hands-on collaboration.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related technical role.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and improving AWS-based infrastructure using core services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS/Aurora, load balancing, Lambda, and related cloud services.
  • Production-level experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS, including containerized workloads, networking, security, scalability, and operational readiness.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and infrastructure automation practices.
  • Experience designing, building, and improving CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD, to support consistent, secure, and reliable deployments.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience in Linux-based or cloud-native environments using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Solid understanding of networking, IAM, cloud security, containers, Linux, patching concepts, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, application, deployment, networking, and operational issues across multiple layers.
  • Working knowledge of observability, reliability, incident management, and release management concepts, with the ability to support implementation needs in partnership with SRE.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clarify ambiguity, align stakeholders, document decisions, communicate risks, and influence without relying only on authority.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, technical judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Preferred Qualifications
