Summary:
JOB SUMMARY
Provides advanced expertise in major gifts fundraising, leading donor engagement strategies and complex gift negotiations. Offers guidance and mentorship to junior staff and supports the planning and execution of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1) Leads cultivation and solicitation of major gifts from high net worth individuals.
2) Manages a significant portfolio of donors and prospects.
3) Develops and implements strategies for complex gifts.
4) Provides technical guidance to team members.
5) Mentors and supports junior colleagues.
6) Analyzes and reports on fundraising progress.
7) Represents the organization at donor meetings and special events.
8) Supports the development and refinement of major gifts processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
University degree (advanced degree preferred). 8+ years related professional experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Advanced degree. Experience with blended gifts, strong analytical skills, and record of securing six-figure gifts.

Hiring Range:

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate's qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the annual hiring range for this position is:
