Full Job Description
Description & Requirements

Reporting to a Development Director, you will be the delivery lead for a diverse software development team building internal platforms and tools for EA studios. Working with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Technical Artists, you will translate product strategy into executable plans and lead delivery from planning through release. You will help the team deliver predictable, high-quality software while encouraging continuous improvement across delivery processes and team operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product Managers, Technical Directors, Engineers, Designers, and Technical Artists to translate product strategy goals. This translation process involves creating executable delivery plans, including scope definition, work breakdown, estimation, sprint planning, and release planning.
  • Manage Agile delivery for the team by increasing sprint ceremonies, monitoring execution against plans, and ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery through scope, risk, and dependency management.
  • Anticipate delivery challenges and organisational gaps before they become blockers, taking ownership to lead solutions across teams and partners.
  • Work with Engineering, QA, and Product partners to monitor delivery health, prioritise technical debt, manage resource allocation, and improve team effectiveness and software quality.
  • Support and develop direct reports while encouraging a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
  • Lead a team of approximately five direct reports, including Software Engineers and a UI Designer, supporting their growth, performance, and career development.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience leading software development projects from planning through release.
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching, providing feedback, and supporting employee development.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, with experience partnering directly with Software Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to define scope, facilitate estimation, manage dependencies, and develop realistic delivery plans.
  • Experience leading Agile software delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, delivery forecasting, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Experience monitoring execution against plans, identifying scope changes, delivery risks, and dependency issues, and driving adjustments to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Improve delivery processes, team operations, or collaboration beyond immediate project responsibilities.
  • Interest in modern software development practices and AI-enabled technologies, with experience evaluating or adopting new tools and workflows to improve team effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
