Qualifications:

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $82,400.00 to $103,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?

World Wide Technology, Inc. currently has an opportunity available for a Lead Developer on the IT Software Engineering COE - Core Development team located at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. The Core applications and component libraries support all of IT and represent some of the mission-critical logic needed to keep delivery teams and processes running. These applications are highly visible and are currently being used by our WWT internal users around the globe. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team consisting of other Developers, Analysts, and Architects.

Successful candidates will be passionate about development and ready to make an impact by playing a critical role in architecting and implementing scalable web applications, AI solutions, components, and libraries that deliver value to our users. We're looking for someone who is collaborative, thinks outside the box, and has a mindset of continuous learning in the ever-changing environment of Information Technology.

WWT's IT Software Engineering Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Developer with a strong focus on Quality Engineering to join our Core Development team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining mission-critical web applications and shared component libraries used by employees globally. In addition to contributing to frontend and backend development (Vue.js and Node.js), this individual will take ownership of testing strategy and infrastructure-driving improvements in unit, integration, and end-to-end test coverage. The ideal candidate is passionate about code quality, scalable development, and delivering reliable, high-performing applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js and backend services using Node.js
  • Own and enhance testing infrastructure, including unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks
  • Expand and improve automated test coverage using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or Vitest
