Job description
Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Developer with expertise in Java and Microservices architecture to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern Java frameworks and cloud-native principles. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that power mission-critical application. Candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient microservices using Java (Java 8/11/17+), Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Implement best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and clean code principles.
Required Qualifications: - Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 2 Years of experience in Information Technology.
- Highly skilled in Programming and Proficient in Java Programming. In depth understanding of Data structures and algorithms.
- Strong experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batches, Spring Cloud Streams, and RESTful API development.

Preferred Qualifications: - Proven expertise in designing and deploying microservices-based architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Proficient in version control systems like Git and tools like Maven, Gradle.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (Preferred). Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Harness, etc.). Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
- Capable of adapting to modern technologies and learning new tools and applications and Flexible as per the project need.
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and team player. Good working experience of the tools responsible for automation processes. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
