Mandatory Qualifications: - Level III- More than seven (7) years of experience working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer
- More than seven (7) years of experience in integration application (API, batch, async) design and development across high-profile projects with complex business logic.
- More than seven (7) years of experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations (APIs, asynchronous processes, and batch processes); strong working knowledge of mainframe interfaces and integration patterns (batch, file-based, and message queue based), with proven experience designing and developing them into .NET based solutions.
Desirable Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience designing, documenting, developing, and implementing integration processes and solutions using .NET C#.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration, including development of secure web services and SOAP/RESTful APIs.
- Four (4) or more years of experience developing with message queue processing (IBM MQ preferred) and/or an Enterprise Service Bus.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience with Entity Framework.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit preferred).
- Five (5) or more years of experience with distributed version control systems such as Git.
- Two (2) or more years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD workflows.
- Two (2) or more years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Two (2) or more years of experience working in a federal or state government setting (Health and Human Services, especially Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, and Child Support, preferred).
Duties/Responsibilities: Integration Developer (Developer III)
Key Responsibilities : Analyze and understand existing mainframe interfaces and integrations, including batch processes, file transfers, and message queues, and design and develop them into .NET (C#) solutions.
Design, develop, and deploy APIs (RESTful, SOAP, etc.) for internal and external use.
Integrate with various systems, applications, and platforms using consumable APIs, managed file transfers, and queuing platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to define integration requirements and confirm successful integration. Identify and resolve integration issues, optimize performance, and maintain data security.
Create and maintain clear documentation for internal users and stakeholders.

Consultants may be eligible to telecommute for more than 50% of their work hours, up to and including 100% remote work. Telecommuting arrangements require direct manager approval and are subject to change based on program needs. Consultants approved for 100% remote work must attend monthly in-person meetings at the Albany office and be available for major milestone meetings as needed.
