ABOUT THE TEAM

As a Developer within the Gen AI & Digital Workplace team, you will join a dynamic and innovative group that leverages its intellectual leadership to create an engaging, efficient, and intuitive work environment. The Developer plays a key role within the Gen AI & Digital Workplace team to maximize the value delivered by the Technology, Data, and Operations (TDO) group to PSP's various business lines.

Our mission is to enable PSP employees to enhance their digital dexterity, deepen their knowledge of GenAI, and facilitate the secure adoption of AI and collaborative technologies in a constantly evolving technological landscape, as well as to ensure access to knowledge resources and collaboration channels anytime, anywhere, with contextual relevance.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Developer, GenAI & Digital Workplace you will:
  • Develop highly scalable and reliable data pipelines and platforms to contribute to the delivery strategy
  • Implement database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions using Snowflake and Databricks
  • Participate in the evaluation and analysis of requests, such as change and/or evolution requests
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure maintainability and sustainability of products
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues and bugs to provide product evolution recommendations
  • Document and communicate your work and progress
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and trends in order to provide guidance to the team and improve existing products and efficiency


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience,
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks features and concepts such as warehouses, databases, roles, security, data sharing, performance tuning, and data engineering
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD tools
  • Experience in the financial industry and in monitoring industry development techniques and tools
  • Experience with web applications and services using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Angular to contribute to the delivery strategy (asset)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London, and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
