Design System Program Manager

About your role:

As a Design System Program Manager for the UniFi Enterprise Design System, you will help operationalize a unified design system that serves as the foundation for design, engineering, accessibility, content, research, and AI-enabled delivery across the enterprise. You will create the structure, governance, communication, and operating rhythm needed to align teams, coordinate work across multiple disciplines, and drive successful adoption of UniFi at scale. You will partner closely with Design, Product, Engineering, Research, Accessibility, Content Design, and business stakeholders to turn strategy into measurable outcomes

What you'll do:
  • Lead program planning, governance, and execution activities that support the successful growth and adoption of the UniFi Enterprise Design System.
  • Coordinate roadmaps, dependencies, release planning, and delivery activities across Design, Engineering, Product, Research, Accessibility, Content Design, and AI teams.
  • Facilitate governance processes, committee reviews, decision forums, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Drive adoption, onboarding, migration planning, change management, community engagement, and enablement programs that help teams successfully adopt UniFi.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and reporting frameworks that connect adoption, reuse, governance participation, delivery acceleration, and business value realization.


Experience you'll need to have:
  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Design Operations, Product Operations, Strategy & Operations, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, teams, and business functions.
  • 7+ years of experience applying systems thinking to integrate products, processes, and operating models across complex enterprise ecosystems, aligning interdependent teams and platforms toward shared outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of modern digital product development, Agile planning practices, and enterprise delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes, manage dependencies, resolve risks, and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.


Experience that would be great to have:
  • Experience supporting enterprise Design Systems, UX Platforms, Product Platforms, or Centers of Excellence.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Storybook, design tokens, component governance, and design system adoption programs.
  • Experience leading organizational change management, platform migrations, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with Jira, Azure DevOps, Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar planning and delivery tools.
  • Experience supporting AI-enabled product delivery, design-to-code workflows, or digital transformation efforts within regulated industries.


Important information about this role:
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
  • This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.

Salary Range
$136,000.00 - $225,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
