Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in automotive seating systems design, development & launch
• Strong knowledge of injection molding, tooling, and material properties
• Familiarity with automotive standards and validation processes
• Proficiency in Teamcenter/NX
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing projects, including timelines and budgets
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and supplier management abilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and release of various seating components and assemblies for JIT delivery
• Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, durability, and regulatory requirements
• Lead design and development activities following Stellantis design practices
• Ensure seat system packages integrate seamlessly within the vehicle
• Work closely with suppliers on design feasibility and manufacturing constraints
• Track and meet program timing, cost, and quality targets
• Resolve technical issues promptly and support launch and plant build events
