The Role
Your role
As a Design Operations Specialist, you will operate at a strategic level, ensuring that design work is enabled by clear processes, strong coordination, and reliable delivery. This role focuses on how design gets done rather than creating design outputs, making it easier for designers and cross functional partners to plan, execute, and deliver high quality work for customers. What you will do
• Establish and maintain design processes that support planning, delivery, and quality across design projects
• Coordinate interactions between designers and cross functional teams such as product, engineering, and delivery
• Support design project planning, resourcing, briefing, and prioritization to ensure work progresses as intended
• Manage communication flows related to design activities, including timelines, dependencies, and updates
• Identify and address operational issues that impact design efficiency, consistency, or quality
• Track design work at a portfolio or program level to provide visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes
• Support continuous improvement of DesignOps practices based on observed challenges and results

• Experience coordinating multiple design projects or initiatives at the same time
• Ability to define, document, and improve processes that support consistent design delivery
• Experience working with designers and non-design partners to align on scope, timing, and expectations
• Comfort working at both a strategic and tactical level to solve operational challenges
• Experience using planning, tracking, or collaboration tools to manage design activities
Preferred skills and experience
