About the RoleWe'll be launching the product soon. We're hiring a design engineer to join our 7 person team and own how Synthetic looks and feels everywhere. This is our second design hire, and you'll work alongside our first designer. You'll report directly to the founder. You can work from anywhere in the US, Canada, or Mexico. We bring everyone on site in San Francisco one week per month.
This role spans brand, marketing, and product:
- Brand. Help define what Synthetic looks and sounds like, and keep it consistent everywhere it shows up.
- Marketing. Design and build our website, landing pages, and launch materials alongside our growth marketer.
- Product. Build and tweak features in TypeScript on SvelteKit, side by side with our engineers.
We work fast. When you ship work it'll be in front of real customers within days or hours.
Job Requirements- Taste.
- You ship your own designs in HTML/CSS/TypeScript, not just Figma.
- Range. You have work across brand, marketing, and product you're proud to show off.
- A pragmatic approach to building fast at an early-stage company.
- A severe bullshit allergy.
Compensation- $250K - $300K USD salary
- 0.7% - 1% fully diluted equity
