Full Job Description
As a Design Engineer in Micron's Pathfinding Design Team, you will play a key role in shaping next-generation memory technologies. This position involves contributing to the definition and analysis of array architectures, as well as leading the design of analog, basic digital, and mixed-signal circuits for sophisticated memory technologies, including DRAM and emerging memories. You will work on novel concept development, circuit simulation, optimization, and floor planning to enable groundbreaking memory solutions!
Responsibilities:
• Contributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
• Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape-out revisions
• Overseeing and managing the layout process, including floor-planning, placement, and routing
• Contributing to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success
• Working with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of the product
• Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve the design quality
Min Qualifications
• MSEE + 5 years' post-graduate mix-signal or analog IC design experience
• 5+ years of exposure to circuit debugging in collaboration with other engineering teams.
• Performing verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry-standard simulators
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency with UNIX and CADENCE design environment (Simulation, Schematic entry, SPF extraction).
• You will work on novel concept development, circuit simulation, optimization, and floor planning to enable groundbreaking memory solutions!
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$100,000.00 - $213,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.
