Position Overview:
Design, development, analyze and document mechanical, and electromechanical solutions for both new and sustaining products. Work with international customers, R&D, and marketing professionals to develop whole product technical solutions to solve state of the art problems in semiconductor, display, and solar next generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, manufacture, analyze, test and document mechanical and electromechanical systems for new and sustaining products.
- Design work to cover mass transfer, heat transfer, mechanical design, hardware integration, and manufacturability for product development, automated test fixtures, and failure analysis.
- Work with all departments on ways to improve performance, manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and overall quality of products.
- Work with mechanical, chemical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure that system designs are accurately modeled, manufactured, tested, and documented, and meet product requirement specifications, driving deliverables and cross-functional alignment through each phase gate of the product development lifecycle.
- Utilize SolidWorks to generate part and assembly models and drawings for design reviews, manufacturing, and ECOs (engineering change orders).
- Work with outside vendors to manufacture and find parts to meet product requirements.
- Inspection of parts and assemblies to meet critical dimensions and specifications.
- Planning and developing timelines to meet deadlines.
- Generate/update bill of materials into an ERP system; generate/update product design, test and assembly documentation and internal mechanical engineering processes.
- Work with Hydrogen Peroxide or hydrazine as a gas and liquid.
Qualifications:
- Education: Requires Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Experience with modeling software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of related work experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- May require working with dangerous and/or toxic gases and the ability to physically control RASIRC designed hazardous equipment.
- Experience with hazardous chemistry is a plus.
- Understand heat transfer, mass transfer and process piping ability to work hands on with gases, liquids, and heaters.
- Ability to design, build and run tests.
- Ability to work in class 1000 or better cleanrooms with required cleanroom garb.
- Ability to lift approximately 35 lbs.

- The salary range for this position is $85,000- $100,000/ year depending on experience and qualifications.
