JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Description:

You will shape how a flagship airport lounge portfolio is governed, reported, and delivered—bringing rigor to decisions, visibility to leaders, and consistency across sites. You will work in a highly cross-functional environment and partner closely with an external lounge partner and delivery vendors to keep execution aligned to approved scope, budget, schedule, and standards.

As an Airport Lounge Program Manager in Global Real Estate Design and Construction, you will provide program-level oversight for a network of lounges delivered with an external lounge partner—where the partner leads day-to-day delivery and airport coordination, and JPMorganChase provides governance, capital accountability, and standards oversight. You will drive stage gates and decisioning, maintain portfolio health visibility, and ensure changes and re-baselines are governed with discipline. This role reports to the Lounge Design and Construction program lead.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the single point of contact within Design and Construction for the lounge program, coordinating across internal stakeholders and the external lounge partner.
  • Establish and run the program governance structure, forums, and escalation paths to enable timely decisions and consistent execution across sites.
  • Drive lifecycle stage gates and milestone readiness, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and required artifacts are defined and aligned before approvals.
  • Own executive-level program reporting, including portfolio health, key risks, decision requests, and action tracking on an established cadence.
  • Maintain program baselines for scope, schedule, and budget, and lead documentation and alignment of any material re-baselines through governance.
  • Oversee adherence to approved design intent and standards, and route items that impact the design experience to the appropriate approvers.
  • Coordinate program-level interfaces with third-party delivery teams (design, project controls, construction) to manage dependencies and critical-path decisions.
  • Implement and manage program change control, ensuring changes are logged, assessed for cost/schedule/standards impacts, and routed per decision authority.
  • Monitor delivery metrics and portfolio insights, identify recurring cost/schedule drivers, and lead continuous improvement and lessons-learned adoption.
  • Drive closeout governance across sites, including documentation completeness and financial reconciliation tracking through completion.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • 10 years99 experience in program and/or project management within construction, architecture, real estate development, or facilities management.
  • Demonstrated experience running governance, controls, and executive-level reporting for a multi-project portfolio.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, balance competing priorities, and deliver on-time commitments.
  • Strong analytical capability, including collecting, synthesizing, and communicating operational metrics for program health.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, including developing clear materials for senior audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment and driving decisions with a strong fact base.
  • Experience implementing change control processes and assessing impacts to scope, budget, schedule, and standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence external partners and vendors while maintaining clear accountability and outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills, including role clarity, team motivation, and development of junior talent.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience delivering projects in airport environments or other highly regulated, stakeholder-dense settings.
  • Experience working with third-party project controls functions (cost, schedule, risk, reporting) across multiple sites.
  • Experience supporting design standards governance across a portfolio (guidelines, conformance reviews, controlled updates).
  • Experience supporting construction delivery models that emphasize cost certainty and structured change management.
  • Experience building operational playbooks/guidebooks to scale consistent delivery.
