OverviewAcademic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior general dermatology experience to join our team in our North Tampa office.
This full-time position offers a four-day workweek and a mix of general dermatology and aesthetics, with an established patient base providing immediate volume. The provider will work from a beautiful North Tampa office and have the opportunity to perform aesthetic treatments using a Candela laser.

Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations, biopsies, and other dermatologic procedures.
- Order and review laboratory work and other diagnostic results.
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform cosmetic treatments and educate patients on available aesthetic services.
- Accurately document examinations, treatments, and plans of care in EMA (ModMed).
- Build long-term patient relationships while addressing each patient's medical and cosmetic dermatology needs.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment focused on high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing clinical, procedural, and product training.
Qualifications- Minimum of two years of direct patient care experience in general dermatology as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current or eligible Florida NP or PA license and applicable national board certification.
- Experience performing cosmetic treatments strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to deliver efficient, high-quality care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Commitment to building long-term patient relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Licensure/Certifications/Education- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Active and unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.
