  • Manage user permissions and functional floor planning on multiple enclaves.
  • Integrate into enterprise planning activities to ensure operational requirements are met and devise workarounds when needed.
  • Participate in working groups and conferences as an AOC subject matter expert.
  • Stay current on weapon system capabilities and initiatives through networking.
  • Coordinate with customers to optimize weapon system availability during maintenance.

Full Job Description
Delaware Nation Industries is seeking a qualified AOC Weapon System Manager candidate to support the U.S. Air Force (USAF) at Langley AFB (Ryan Center) in Hampton, VA.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise for all aspects of the AOC Weapon System (WS) configuration and management for multiple AOC WS enclaves.
  • Be responsible to the unit commander for the functional health and reporting of multiple unit weapon system enclaves
  • Ensures all required WS systems are configured and operating in a manner that meets operational needs.
  • Direct and performs end-to-end validations of the WS prior to contingency and exercise execution, as well as after any significant configuration changes to the WS.
  • Analyze and evaluate AOC enterprise requirements and works with other key personnel to translate requirements into operational capabilities.
  • Manage user permissions on multiple enclaves and determine floor planning to meet functional requirements of all AOC user roles.
  • Participate and integrate into AOC enterprise planning activities to provide operational experience and to ensure division/joint partner/coalition requirements are met, when possible, or devise workarounds if not currently available.
  • Participate in working groups and conferences providing AOC and unit subject matter expertise.
  • Remain current on AOC weapon system capabilities, developments, and initiatives by interfacing with system program offices (SPO), other agencies, staff, and other AOCs.
  • Coordinate with customers to maximize availability of AOC WS enclaves during authorized service interruptions (ASIs) for maintenance ensuring uninterrupted daily operations and services.
  • Support command's special projects to include coordinating with external agencies, researching solutions, recommending purchases and briefing interested parties, as required.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of AOC roles, systems, application, interfaces and databases maintained by the organization.
  • Good communications skills and expert planning skills.
  • Extensive experience with current telecommunications technologies and ability to leverage current information technologies (ie: Microsoft Office Tools such as Teams and SharePoint Portal).
  • Ability to efficiently transform management requirements into effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited institution in a field applicable to this position with five (5) years' experience or the equivalent experience in operations, intelligence, or cyber operations career field within an AOC.
  • Highly desired: Numbered Air Force (NAF), MAJCOM, or Headquarters Air Force (HAF) level staff experience to include program and funding actions.
  • Highly desired: Experience in AOC mission planning and/or execution and AOC multi-divisional/theater exercise planning or experience in an AOC Communications Squadron.


Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires US citizenship and current TOP SECRET Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • This position requires ability to travel as required
