Job Description:
As a Deputy Program Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals deliveringexpertisein program management, systems integration, and technical leadership across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Program Manager in the overall planning, execution, and management of complex, multi-year programs and projects.
- Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve programobjectivesand deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
- Develop andmaintainprogram documentation, reports, and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Identifyand mitigate programrisks, andimplement process improvements to enhance program performance.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, including government customers and subcontractors.
- Serve as acting Program Manager in their absence.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, management, or related discipline).
- 10+ years of professional experience in program or project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in managing large, complex programs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience working with government contracts and DoD programs preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
Salary Range: $125,100.00 - $225,200.00
