Description

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) provides day-to-day operational leadership supporting the DEA Diversion Control Program. The DPM reports directly to the Program Manager (PM) and is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality completion of background investigations and financial analyses for new DEA registrant applicants.

Requirements

Serving as the Deputy Program Manager your responsible for coordinating contractor personnel in support of the Diversion Control Program.
• Supervise and mentor contractor employees.
• Assign and monitor workloads to meet Government priorities.
• Review investigative reports for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with DEA policies, SOPs, and contract requirements.
• Track performance metrics and case status.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Coordinate staffing and training.
• Prepare monthly status and performance reports.
• Brief the Program Manager and Government officials on contract performance.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support surge operations and special projects as directed.

Required Skills and Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Intelligence Studies, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of management experience supervising investigative, intelligence, compliance, financial, regulatory, or law enforcement personnel.
• Experience managing multiple teams and Government contract deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate with government CORs and the Contract Program Manager.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required Government security clearances.
