Description & Requirements

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Deputy Program Manager to help support our current Marine Corps Systems Command Contract in Stafford, VA. The successful candidate will support the Account Owner/Program Manager as the Deputy PM / Account Delivery Lead and will oversee daily operations and delivery health across programs in the account.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the Deputy Program Manager and Delivery Lead within a fast paced, complex operating environment focused on a Marine Corps customer that develops, integrates, fields, and sustains intelligence and cyberspace capabilities in support of the Fleet Marine Force.
  • Ensure delivery excellence, risk management, and client satisfaction across the account.
  • Supervise contract operations to include talent acquisition, resourcing, compliance, funding, travel, asset management, purchasing, and myriad other account and contract focus areas.
  • Oversee a comprehensive quality management and compliance program that ensures sustained excellence in MANTECH's performance and delivery for multiple Marine Corps customers.
  • Provide guidance and direction to project managers and team leaders who manage MANTECH's workforce and delivery and who are aligned to the customers' major product lines and projects.
  • Develop and conduct training that reinforces consistency and best practices across the account to improve our performance and delivery in alignment with client expectations and priorities.
  • Support the Account Capability Architect's efforts to integrate MANTECH's Practice capabilities within the account consistent with the account strategy.
  • Supervise the organization's ongoing efforts to optimize the client's knowledge management environment, ensuring all stakeholder equities are accounted for and information configuration and flow requirements are achieved


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of related program management office support. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated service in a Marine Corps acquisition command, capability development directorate, or laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of DoD/USMC business processes and support to operational best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Marine Corps officer experience
  • Experience in the execution of large-scale contracts, client-facing delivery, risk and performance management, and matrixed organization optimization.


Clearance Required: Must have a current/active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work.

The projected compensation range for this position is $119,900.00-$199,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
