Full Job Description
The Work:

Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of enhancements, operations, and modernization efforts. This role blends technical program management with hands on technical expertise to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable performance of client environments. They will partner closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end program management activities for project, including strategic planning, scope management, risk management, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Coordinate and oversee technical workstreams across database administration, system engineering, cloud operations, and application support teams.
  • Serve as primary point of integration for cross-functional efforts related to system performance, data integrity, modernization initiatives, and production stability.
  • Oversee environment management, release planning, configuration management, and operational readiness reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with client security, data retention, change management, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders-including business owners, contractors, and government partners-to ensure consistent communication and delivery alignment.
  • Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts across technical domains.
  • Provide leadership in architecture discussions involving on premise and cloud components.


Here's what you need:
  • Oracle Database Administration (DBA): Experience in administering Oracle OLTP databases, performance tuning, schema management, data migration, backup/restore operations, and PL/SQL scripting.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): Hands on experience with system administration, patching, file system management, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • Apache Web Server Administration: Ability to configure, optimize, secure, and maintain Apache HTTP Server deployments supporting enterprise applications.
  • AWS Cloud Technologies: Proficiency with AWS services. Strong experience with AWS Elastic Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) for traffic routing, scaling, and availability.
  • Experience with high availability architectures.


Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Prior experience supporting or managing federal systems, preferably within client space.
  • Prior experience with UKG GovTA software a big plus.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise change control and ITIL processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi vendor and cross organizational technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
