Position Title: Deputy PM / Senior Analyst

Location:

Period of Performance:

Start Date: One 1-year base period plus four 1-year option periods

Place of Performance:

Remote with occasional travel (~4 times/year).

Work is virtual unless otherwise directed. In-person meetings, if required.

Position Summary: The Deputy PM / Senior Analyst supports day-to-day contract execution, project coordination, schedule tracking, deliverable control, risk and issue monitoring, stakeholder communication, and analytical support for a federal correspondence and content management program. The role supports the Project Manager in maintaining continuity of operations, coordinating work across functional specialists, preparing management products, and supporting Government decision-making through clear analysis, status reporting, and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support daily project coordination, work planning, and execution across correspondence, content, records, Section 508, and administrative workflow support activities.
  • Track schedules, milestones, action items, risks, issues, corrective actions, deliverables, and Government-directed priorities.
  • Maintain project tracking tools, task logs, decision logs, meeting notes, status trackers, and reporting inputs.
  • Prepare monthly progress report inputs, annual summary inputs, special status report inputs, executive briefings, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action items, and decision records.
  • Support Business Case documents, Analyses of Alternatives, data calls, research, workload analysis, and management recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, functional specialists, and Government stakeholders to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, timely, and ready for review.
  • Support staffing coordination, onboarding tracking, backup coverage, workload balancing, and continuity planning.
  • Support quality reviews before deliverables are submitted to the Government.
  • Assist with transition-in, transition-out, knowledge transfer, data handoff, and continuity documentation.
  • Work in a non-personal services environment where contractor personnel are managed by the contractor, not by Government staff.


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Federal correspondence management systems or comparable Federal tasker, case-tracking, records, or content-management systems.
  • Experience supporting Federal programs in a Deputy PM, Senior Analyst, Program Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Experience tracking schedules, deliverables, milestones, risks, issues, action items, and corrective actions.
  • Experience preparing executive-level reports, briefings, meeting materials, status updates, and analytical products.
  • Experience supporting Business Cases, Analyses of Alternatives, process-improvement recommendations, or decision-support materials.
  • Strong written communication, organization, stakeholder coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint or comparable collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment while coordinating with multiple team members and stakeholders.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.


Required Certification:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
