Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Deputy Director of Operations to lead the New York Centralized Support Collection and Enforcement Project, supporting the New York Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance. This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale operations, leading high-performing teams, and partnering closely with state clients to ensure service excellence.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 150-200 employees responsible for processing and disbursing child support payments.
- Oversee operations for New York State's Child Support Customer Call Center.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with onsite New York State clients.
- Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and align with company quality and performance standards.
- Partner with leaders across multiple locations to drive efficiencies, share best practices, and support continuous improvement.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to review program performance, address challenges, and align goals.
Requirements- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience supporting major operations, data center operations, customer support services, payment processing, and/or transaction processing.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and people management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Ability to work extended and weekend hours, as business needs require.
Preferred- Bachelor's degree in business administration

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business needs, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $77,700 - $101,000.
