Position Description:
Drives analytics to support all aspects of government programs P&L management and serves as the analytical engine of the organization to deliver financial insights and support strategic projects.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with administrative and operational leadership to identify and quantify opportunities for improvements in financial performance, as well as identify gaps between business goals and objectives.
- Provides analytical insights in partnership with business teams to optimize revenue via rate advocacy discussions across all markets, maturing how the company engages lobbying team across national footprint.
- Drives cost management initiatives and identifies opportunities for savings, pros and cons of tactics, and track execution of performance relative to recent monthly performance.
- Leads alignment and consensus about financial decisions across markets and segments.
- Presents feedback to leadership regarding risks associated with financial projects and provides insight on relevant historical trends, expected future events, and retail trends.
- Provides strategic input for business decisions by overseeing the production of complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks.

Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field and two years of experience in financial reporting and analysis. Previous management consulting experience is preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires knowledge in corporate finance in the areas of budget processes, financial analysis for health care programs and projects, cost accounting principles, managed care pricing, monthly financial reporting, benchmarking and other analytical tools; advanced analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to resolve complex problems using independent judgment.
