Job Title: Denovo Program Director

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Program Director to spearhead the launch and scaling of new Home Healthcare locations. This high-impact role combines real estate, operational excellence, and marketing to expand our healthcare footprint and bring quality care to new communities. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, drive results through cross-functional collaboration, and have a proven track record of successfully launching healthcare facilities or programs from concept to full operation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Entry
  • Lead comprehensive market analysis to identify optimal locations for new healthcare facilities based on community needs, demographics, and competitive landscape
  • Develop business cases and financial models for new site opportunities, including ROI projections and break-even analysis
  • Partner with executive leadership and AVP to define growth strategy and prioritize expansion markets


End-to-End Project Leadership
  • Own the complete lifecycle of new facility launches from site selection through operational stabilization
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, coordinating real estate, licensing, equipment procurement, staffing, and marketing activities
  • Navigate complex regulatory requirements, including state licensing, Medicare/Medicaid certification, and local permits
  • Manage project budget per location


Operational Excellence
  • Design and implement standardized operational workflows, and patient experience standards for new locations
  • Establish KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor ramp-up progress and operational efficiency
  • Create playbooks and toolkits to accelerate future site launches and ensure consistency across locations
  • Lead post-launch optimization efforts to achieve targeted patient volumes and financial performance


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across Real Estate, Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, IT
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including landlords, contractors, equipment vendors, and community stakeholders
  • Facilitate executive steering committees and provide regular updates to C-suite leadership
  • Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement


Qualifications

Required Experience
  • Degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with demonstrated success in:
    • Opening new healthcare facilities, service lines, or programs
    • Managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with budgets
    • Healthcare regulatory compliance and licensing processes
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive results through matrixed teams
  • Experience with P&L management and financial modeling
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards


Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential
  • Experience in healthcare services organizations
  • Knowledge of healthcare real estate development and medical facility planning
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
