Full Job Description
About the Job

The Demand & Supply Planning Manager ensures material availability supports production and revenue commitments by aligning supplier lead times and inbound materials with the production schedule. This role translates supply constraints into a rolling revenue forecast and serves as the single source of truth for material availability, aligning Operations, Procurement, Production, and Finance around a unified plan. By providing early visibility into supply risks, the Demand & Supply Planning Manager enables proactive decision-making, protects customer commitments, and helps prevent material delays from impacting shipments and revenue.

What You'll Do
  • Track incoming ingredient and raw material timing against production schedules -the majority procured to client specifications, with a portion client-supplied - maintaining a clear line of sight from purchase order to receipt to production run for each client
  • Work closely with Procurement to monitor supplier lead times, open POs, delays, and substitutions, since supplier performance is the primary driver of what we can build and when
  • Translate supply constraints into a rolling revenue forecast: what we can realistically produce, ship, and invoice this month based on what is actually landing and which client orders it unlocks
  • Flag gaps early - for example, "Ingredient X for Client A is two weeks late from the supplier, putting $Y of billable production at risk this month" - quantifying the impact and surfacing it to leadership before it compounds
  • Own a recurring cadence - typically weekly - where Supply, Procurement, Production, and Finance reconcile numbers and commit to a shared forecast
  • Serve as the single point of truth that feeds leadership consistent, forward-looking revenue data tied to actual supply reality
  • Build and maintain simple, trusted reporting and dashboards that make supply-to-revenue risk visible at a glance, by client and in aggregate

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Advanced knowledge of demand and supply planning, S&OP, and materials/production planning in an ingredient-driven manufacturing environment
  • Ability to translate operational and supply data into financial outcomes - fluent with both the plant floor and the finance team
  • Strong Excel and spreadsheet modeling skills, with hands-on experience in an ERP or MRP system (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
  • Proven ability to run a recurring cross-functional cadence (S&OP or similar) and hold stakeholders to a shared set of numbers
  • Clear, concise communicator who can turn ambiguity into a specific, quantified risk statement

Experience & Education
  • 5+ years in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, materials/production planning, or a closely related supply chain role, ideally in food, beverage, CPG, or another ingredient-driven manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience managing materials procured to spec - coordinating supplier lead times, open POs, and receipts against a production schedule
  • Experience in a contract manufacturing, co-manufacturing, or co-packing environment, planning across multiple clients and programs (preferred)
  • Experience tying supply constraints directly to revenue forecasting and monthly financial close; familiarity with perishable or short-shelf-life ingredients (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related field required; APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred

The Perks of Joining Our Team
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage-plus a few weeks of paid parental leave when it matters most
  • Paid time off and holidays to help you unwind and recharge
  • Real opportunities to grow your skills and make an impact as we evolve
  • A collaborative team that's adaptable, supportive, and driven to succeed together
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions to help you build your future
