Demand Planning and Fulfillment Manager at DICKEY-john

Is responsible for managing, creating and maintaining the product forecast for DICKEY-john, CE and Quest products in order to provide an accurate and reliable picture of demand for sales planning, financial forecasting, and operational supply chain planning & manufacturing. It also manages the work and review of Order Management in Auburn in close cooperation with the UK. In addition, this position is responsible for providing data, analysis and reporting to support sales, operations and finance.

What Will You Do?
  • Collaborates with Sales (RSMs), Marketing (Product Managers), and Operations for all DICKEY-john, CE and Quest (brand) value streams to build product forecasts, demand plans, and identify and resolve discrepancies between sales forecasts and demand forecasts
  • Collects value stream marketing data and incorporates it into forecasting models to generate sales and demand forecasts
  • Leads development and execution of communication and performance enhancements to demand forecasting processes and systems
  • Measures variances between forecast and actual demand, analyzes cause and effect, recommends corrective action, and publishes results
  • Maintains forecast system (APO) viability while refining the forecast model parameters to constantly seek forecast accuracy improvement
  • Maintain close working relationships with appropriate major customer commodity purchasing manager
  • Provides data and analysis for other departments as appropriate
  • Provides technical and process expertise, guidance and support to team members
  • Manage activities of Demand Manager
  • Manage activities of Auburn Order Management personnel.
  • Prioritize high demand product build and ship sequence as needed.
  • Supports annual changes to product pricing models and distributor price lists, including analysis of change impacts.
  • Publication of weekly dashboard updating financial impacts of changes to sales and demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate publication of monthly, weekly, and daily sales reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree; field of study is open. Relevant experience is preferred.


Experience

Required:
  • Mid to high volume manufactured product envirnment.
  • A Minimum of five years combined experience in production, sales planning, supply chain, and purchasing.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is typically performed in a standard office setting working at a desk or table on a level surface. Air quality and noise levels are within normal limits. Eye protection is usually not required. Under normal conditions, exposure to excessive noise, dust, humidity, and fumes is rare. Individual may be required to work more hours than normally expected during a regular workweek depending on workload and deadline requirements.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position occasionally requires long hours and weekend work.

Travel

Minimal travel is expected for this position.

Pay and Benefits: Competitive market salary from $90,000 - $105,000 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company. Benefits include:
