Full Job Description
Position: Demand Generation Principal, Via Transportation, Inc. (New York, NY) - telecommuting allowed

Duties: Develop Via's global field marketing and public relations strategy for owned and sponsored transit- tech programs (both live and virtual) through rigorous industry research based on Via's objectives, target markets, and annual budgets. Draft speeches and arrange interviews for Via's top executives in order to increase Via's brand awareness and image. Support the annual global event strategy for Via's B2B and B2G businesses to maintain a positive public image for Via. Create campaigns and press releases to support a packed calendar of events and webinars, media, public and potential client engagements, manage the event experience, and measure results and ROI from these efforts. Manage all aspects of event coordination, including budget, event messaging, speaker submissions, contracts, vendor relations, etc. Maintain and update informational documentation throughout the event. Invite journalists and other members of the media to cover the events and create buzz around the events. Conduct post-event and campaign evaluations and ROI analysis per campaign used to maintain a positive public image for Via; adjust our strategy based on results. Work with the broader marketing team to create Via's flagship promotional programs, including Women in Transit-Tech and Via's annual customer summit. Partner with the Public Relations team and other Via teams to write and submit clear and concise proposals for speaking opportunities to promote Via's brand and its transit-tech solutions. Collaborate with product and digital marketing to develop relevant field marketing and public relations collateral. Work closely with business development representatives to organize pre-event and post event outreach to set up meetings and open opportunities. Partner closely with Via's broader teams and organization in collaboration to define the future of public mobility.

Salary: $135,000

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, international studies, or a related field. Two years of experience in marketing role or similar occupation, involving B2B marketing events and campaigns, and the use of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, and A/B testing to improve website traffic and conversions. Telecommuting allowed.
