Job description

Infosys is seeking an experienced Deltek Cobra Consultant to support earned value management (EVM) systems and processes. As part of a strategic engagement, this role involves maintaining and enhancing Cobra configurations, supporting project controls, and ensuring compliance with government contracting standards. You will be part of a collaborative team that values precision, compliance, and operational excellence in a high-regulation environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/ Raleigh, NC/ Indianapolis, IN/ Hartford, CT/Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • At least 4 years of Relevant Information Technology experience. Experience with Deltek Cobra in a government contracting or aerospace environment.
  • Strong understanding of earned value management principles and reporting standards. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience integrating Cobra with scheduling, ERP systems & ANSI/EIA-748 EVMS guidelines & ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms
  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of Deltek Cobra application
  • Assist project teams with cost and schedule integration, baseline management, and performance reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cost models, data imports, and reporting
  • Collaborate with finance, program controls, and PMO teams to ensure accurate EVM reporting
  • Support integration of Cobra with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and ERP systems (e.g., Costpoint)
  • Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines, FAR, DFARS, and other government regulations
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and reporting templates. Aerospace or defense industry experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
