Work You'll Do

As an Engineering & Capital Projects Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on projects to help advise clients to effectively select, deliver, manage, and value fixed assets and infrastructure. You will leverage advanced, technology-enabled solutions to help our clients more confidently make decisions and execute on those decisions to drive performance.

Specific areas of work could include:
  • Conducting valuations, analysis, and tax planning to support transactions and investment decisions
  • Advise of business processes, controls, and data management
  • Provide actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with clients to assess risks, deploy analytics, and drive informed infrastructure decisions
Regardless of project type, your work will require:
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with clients and teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/ responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills in support of both innovative and operational enhancement opportunities
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across Deloitte team members and client stakeholders
  • Ability to identify, learn, understand, and implement new concepts, frameworks and emerging technologies
  • Ability to manage own personal and professional development; seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experience
  • A strong understanding of Windows Based systems and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access and related tools
  • Knowledge of project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera Tools
  • Experience with the analysis of project cost and schedule data using construction industry techniques and software applications

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree completed by Spring/Summer 2026 in these or related areas of study:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Construction Management
  • Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3. 2 cumulative GPA preferred).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
  • Must live within a commutable distance to your assigned office (g. 100-mile radius) with the ability to commute daily, if required, upon start date
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate is $85,000.
