Job DescriptionThe Delivery Operations Lead owns the operational backbone of a Strategic Account within the Automotive & Industrials business unit. This role will be both internal and client-facing.The person in this seat keeps resourcing, invoicing, contracting, and onboarding running cleanly across every project on the account. The role will also regularly engage with the client's Vendor Management Office (VMO) on project compliance and reporting.
The role sits at the Senior Project Manager level reporting into the Account Delivery Partner, and is best suited to someone who has run project delivery and business operations directly and now wants to move into an account-wide operations and resourcing seat.
ResponsibilitiesResourcing- Manage resourcing needs for new projects; partner with practice Workforce Management to ensure resources are matched on skillset, seniority, and geography. Drive resourcing from the point of need identification through onboarding.
- Coordinate with PMs on changing resourcing needs across existing projects.
- Field and respond to internal leadership requests for resourcing status
Account Operations- Track and manage volume discounts across the account.
- Ensure PM invoicing accuracy and timely approval to meet client SLAs.
- Work with PMs to document Value Above Service.
- Provide PMs with signed contracts once received.
- Partner with the Business Coordinator and PMs to stand up projects while contract signature is pending; troubleshoot project operations issues as they come up.
- For select projects, approve team time entry and maintain the forecast.
- Run weekly meetings with the client VMO; prepare quarterly VMO reports on SLA performance.
- Manage account financial operations, including forecasting and reporting.
- Support drafting and reviewing contracts.
Onboarding- Facilitate a monthly recurring welcome meeting for consultants new to the account, covering account background, onboarding processes, and requirements.
- With support from a dedicated internal resource, ensure timely onboarding and offboarding of resources to client systems.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- 4-6 years of project management and/or business operations experience, ideally at Senior Project Manager level or above.
- Experience managing operational workstreams (resourcing, invoicing, contracting) across a multi-project account, not just single-project delivery.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Resource Management, Business Coordinators, and PMs to unblock operational issues.
- Experience preparing and presenting SLA or performance reporting to a client-side stakeholders (e.g., VMO, PMO).
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills. This role is measured on things not falling through the cracks across a busy account.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior experience on a large, strategic account with a formal client VMO relationship.
- Familiarity with Oracle, PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Office, and time entry/forecast approval workflows.
- Experience in Automotive & Industrials or a comparable strategic account environment.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000.
