Our New TeammateWe are seeking a results-driven Manager, Service Delivery (MSD) to lead a portfolio of professional services and client engagements. This leadership role blends portfolio delivery, client advisory services, technical quality assurance, team leadership, and account growth.
The role owns the full lifecycle of service delivery while applying broad cybersecurity expertise to frame client challenges, evaluate recommendations, guide subject-matter experts, and ensure delivery excellence. Detailed engineering and operational work will be performed by assigned specialists, with the Director providing leadership, escalation management, technical review, and executive communication.

Job Responsibilities - What to Expect- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of cybersecurity programs and client engagements, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with contractual obligations, service levels, quality standards, and client objectives
- Own account financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, margin monitoring, staffing plans, subcontractor expenditures, revenue-recognition inputs, and corrective-action recommendations
- Establish and continuously improve delivery governance, including statements of work, acceptance criteria, responsibility matrices, performance measures, change control, risk and issue logs, deliverable reviews, executive reporting, and lessons learned
- Identify, escalate, and resolve delivery, quality, staffing, financial, contractual, and client risks with urgency and professionalism, minimizing client impact and protecting program outcomes
- Serve as the trusted point of contact and strategic advisor for assigned client accounts, building deep, long-term relationships grounded in transparency and delivery excellence
- Translate complex technical cybersecurity concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive and board-level stakeholders, ensuring clients understand the value being delivered
- Manage client expectations proactively, addressing concerns before they escalate and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with business development and account management teams to identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts, supporting practice growth objectives
- Provide senior technical leadership and advisory support across cybersecurity engagements, applying broad expertise to frame client problems, challenge assumptions, evaluate recommendations, and ensure qualified subject-matter experts are assigned to detailed engineering and operational activities
- Guide clients through complex cybersecurity challenges, offering strategic and tactical recommendations that align with their business objectives and risk posture
- Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, regulatory changes, workforce frameworks, and industry trends, incorporating relevant knowledge into client advisory conversations, solution development, and internal practice improvement
- Act as a force multiplier for cybersecurity delivery teams, removing barriers, providing direction, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence
- Partner with technical leads, project managers, and engineers to ensure resource alignment, capacity planning, and on-time delivery
- Manage and hold accountable third-party vendors and subcontractors supporting service delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and contractual requirements
- Mentor and develop cybersecurity professionals and delivery leaders, contributing to recruiting, performance management, career growth, succession planning, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proposal development, and scoping discussions, leveraging technical credibility and delivery expertise to support the sales cycle
- Contribute to the development of service offerings, solutions, and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with practice leadership
- When required, represent Skyline at industry events, conferences, and client-facing engagements as a thought leader and subject matter expert
Your Knowledge & Expertise- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- CISSP or a comparable advanced cybersecurity certification is required
- One additional advanced certification in cybersecurity, audit, risk, software security, cloud security, service management, or program management is preferred
- Relevant certifications may include PMP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, ITIL, or AWS/Azure security certifications
- 20+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related technical fields
- Demonstrated experience in service delivery management, program management, or client-facing leadership roles within a professional services, managed services, or consulting environment
- Experience in a managed security services provider (MSSP) or cybersecurity consulting firm environment
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with accountability for quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
- Experience supporting federal, defense, or regulated industry clients (e.g., healthcare, financial services, critical infrastructure)
- Hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity domains, including one or more of the following:
- Security Operations (SOC, SIEM, threat detection & response)
- Risk Management & Compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, CMMC, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Security Architecture & Engineering
- Vulnerability Management & Penetration Testing
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cloud Security
- Incident Response & Digital Forensics
- Experience engaging with and presenting to C-suite and board-level leadership
