Full Job Description
YOUR ROLE

The Delivery Leader role blends strong delivery discipline with adaptability in a fast-scaling organization. You will lead complex software projects, support pre-sales, and help establish delivery frameworks that enable growth. This role begins hands-on and evolves into people leadership as WRX expands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Mission-Critical Project Delivery

  • Own full-lifecycle execution of customer projects, ensuring commitments across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.


  • Serve as the primary customer interface, driving clarity, transparency, and satisfaction.


  • Build, coordinate, and motivate cross-functional engineering and delivery teams.


  • Drive robust risk management: identify risks early, assess impacts, implement mitigation plans, and manage escalations.


  • Provide concise, professional status updates to stakeholders.


Shape and Win New Business (Pre-Sales)

  • Partner with WRX leadership to qualify opportunities and shape delivery approaches.


  • Contribute to solution discussions, feasibility analysis, and technical trade-offs.


  • Develop Statements of Work, project plans, schedules, and resource estimates.


  • Present proposals and delivery plans confidently to Federal customers.


Build WRX's Delivery Capability

  • Help establish scalable delivery processes suited for a high-security, Federal-focused organization.


  • Mentor future delivery professionals as WRX scales.


  • Participate in hiring and onboarding as the team grows.


WHAT YOU BRING

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship (mandatory).


  • SECRET clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.


  • Proven success leading complex software delivery projects.


  • Strong customer-facing communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.


  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements.


  • Minimum of 7-10 years in SW or Engineering Delivery Management


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Program/Project Management, or related field.


  • Willingness to travel up to ~10%.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian customers.


  • Knowledge of embedded or real-time systems.


  • Familiarity with standards like DO-178C, FACE, IEC61508, IEC62304, ISO26262.


  • Experience in high-security or FOCI-mitigated environments.


  • Experience guiding distributed or international teams.
