Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Deficiency Sales Representative to join our fire business unit.
Primary Responsibilities: - Quote repairs within 14 days of find by the inspection team
- Follow up on open proposals to close them
- Open new jobs for repair by the service team
- Manage time and activity to maximize customer contact to sell solutions to correct deficient life safety systems
Basic Qualifications:- Associates degree OR equivalent experience with inside sales
- Previous sales experience of 2 years
- Valid Driver's License for occasional local site visits to gather requirements
Preferred Qualifications:- Inside sales experience preferably counter sales
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal with drive to follow up with customers
- Knowledge of and a proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Must have good customer service skills and strong communication skills as well as responsiveness
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize IMPORTANT vs URGENT tasks
Physical Requirements:- Ability to travel locally as needed
- Must be able to work at a computer/keyboard
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time
Total 1st year compensation: $140K to $150K
