TCI is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dedicated Billing Manager to lead billing operations for our Dedicated Transportation division. This role is responsible for ensuring billing accuracy, contract compliance, revenue integrity, and operational efficiency across one of TCI's largest and most complex lines of business.

As the leader of Dedicated Billing, you will oversee end-to-end billing operations, manage billing team performance, implement process improvements, and partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Accounting to ensure customers are billed accurately and efficiently. This is an opportunity for a proven billing leader to make a significant impact by improving controls, increasing visibility, and helping scale the organization for future growth.
What You'll Do
Billing Operations Leadership
  • Own end-to-end billing execution for all Dedicated Transportation accounts.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and delivered in accordance with contractual terms and operational activity.
  • Monitor billing performance and drive accountability across the billing function.
Contract & Revenue Management
  • Ensure customer contracts, pricing schedules, rate increases, and amendments are accurately implemented and maintained.
  • Validate alignment between contractual agreements, billing systems, and invoice outputs.
  • Identify and eliminate revenue leakage through strong controls and auditing processes.
New Account Implementation
  • Lead billing setup and implementation for new Dedicated customers.
  • Ensure accurate system configuration and contract alignment from the start of each customer relationship.
  • Partner with Operations and Sales to support successful account launches.
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
  • Own the Dedicated billing month-end close process.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate revenue reporting and financial alignment.
  • Maintain visibility into billing performance and reporting metrics.
Process Improvement & Automation
  • Drive the transition from manual billing processes to more automated, scalable workflows.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop billing team members.
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability standards.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on accuracy, service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, financial operations, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience managing complex billing environments with high levels of accuracy and accountability.
  • Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue integrity, and operational controls.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Preferred
  • Experience within transportation, logistics, trucking, fleet services, or a similar industry.
  • Experience with TMS or ERP systems such as McLeod, Karmak, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives, SOP development, or internal control frameworks.
  • Experience implementing billing automation or workflow enhancements.
